GINO:ABOUT
“Everybody needs a Gino.”
I grew up in beautiful Sonoma County and found my place in photography and video production classes during high school. I loved photography for the mechanics of creating an image and video production for its ability to combine several artistic disciplines into a single expression.
In 2004, I moved to Southern California to begin studying film then transferred to California State University, Long Beach where I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Electronic Arts.
Today, my main line of work involves shooting and editing video content for clients looking for creative work with a small footprint and minimal impact. My favorite jobs involve traveling to beautiful destinations with the intention of sharing that beauty with others.

“I have been lucky enough to work with Gino since 2011. He worked alongside me as a photo studio assistant for almost five years, and for the past seven as a freelance video producer.
Gino is a true renaissance man. His range of talents is seriously impressive. Everything he does is done consistently and with 100% attention to detail. From storytelling, video editing, production coordination, technical/IT knowledge, and the list goes on. His demeanor is calm and observant and his sense of humor is always there when you need it most.
Gino is someone who will quickly become an integral part of any team. He will always be my first phone call for any project I am working on.”
— Laura Tabolsky, Producer
“Having Gino on my crew always put me at ease. His knowledge of photography/video, technical abilities and charming personality on set were always noticed from my clients. If I could have Gino on all my shoots I would.”
— Zeke Ruelas, Photographer
“Gino worked for me for nearly two years and I found him to always be reliable. Had the film I was working at the time been ready to enter production, I would have hired him - he is a great partner.”
— John Walker, Executive Producer
“Gino is one of those rare talents who can leverage his technical aptitude and deliver genuinely creative work. His balance between right and left brain skills make him a prefect fit for the filmmaking process. His commitment to the work would be a great asset on any production.”
